Connect your Stripe account

To receive online payments and deposits, you need to connect your Stripe account to Clienta.

What is Stripe?

Stripe is a secure payment platform used by millions of businesses worldwide. It handles all payments and transfers the money to your bank account.

Step by step

1. Go to Settings

• Open your dashboard
• Go to Settings → Payments
• Click Connect Stripe

2. Create a Stripe account

You'll be redirected to Stripe to create an account. You'll need:

• Your business name and registration number
• Your bank account (IBAN) for payouts
• A valid ID document
• Your address details

3. Complete verification

Stripe verifies your identity and business details. This usually takes a few minutes.

4. Enable payments

After verification, you'll return to Clienta. You'll see:

• Stripe Connect: Connected (green badge)
• The toggle Enable online payments

Turn on the toggle and click Save.

FAQ

What does Stripe cost? Stripe charges per transaction: 1.5% + €0.25 for European cards. Clienta charges no additional commission. When do I receive my money? Stripe pays out to your bank account. You can set the frequency in your Stripe Dashboard (daily, weekly, etc.). Can I disconnect Stripe later? Yes, you can always go to Settings → Payments to manage your Stripe account.
