Cancel appointment

Sometimes appointments need to be cancelled.

Cancel appointment

  • Click on the appointment
  • Click Cancel appointment
  • Choose reason (optional)
  • Confirm
  • What happens?

    When you cancel:

    • Appointment gets status Cancelled
    • Remains visible in calendar (crossed out)
    • Customer receives cancellation email
    • Time becomes available again

    Cancellation policy

    Set policy in SettingsBookings:

    • Minimum cancellation period (e.g., 24 hours)
    • Cancellation message
    • Auto-cancel no-shows

    Customer cancels

    Customers can cancel themselves if:

    • Within the cancellation period
    • Via link in confirmation email
    • Via their booking overview

    Tips

    • Use cancel, not delete - for reporting
    • Add reason - helps analyze later
    • Notify the customer - automatic, but check
